A similarity between Taylor Swift and True Detective... what?
Before you question any further I will just say: Multiple exposures. What?! In short answer, in photography, double exposure is when you merge two images in one. Multiple exposure happens when there are more than two pictures.
For example, take a photo of a tree and a silhouette of a girl, and boom! You have this beautiful artwork.
This piece was shot by the talented Sara K. Byrne (go check her out!).
This is one of my favourite gears in photography, honestly. So today, when Taylor Swift debuted her music video for the new single Styles, I got even more excited when I got to see many multiple exposures. I was very happy about that. (We had the opportunity to see a few sneak peaks that Taylor gave us, but watch the final results is another story, and a very good one).
But also as a TV Series enthusiastic, I couldn't not remember about one of the best series of 2014. Do you know what I am talking about?
It was nominated for four Golden Globes.
It is about two detectives and a serial killer.
Do you know now? No? Not a clue?
Well, Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson star in it.
If you still can't figure it out what I am saying then there is a problem and it needs to be fixed. Go watch True Detective now!
And if you knew what I was talking about since the beginning then group hug! Because there's just a lot of emotions going on.
OK! Back to real life and to the reason that I started talking about True Detective and what does it have to do with Taylor Swift. Well, in the opening of the series, there's also multiple exposures. They are incredibly distinctive from each other, of course, and I am not asking otherwise. But both have multiple exposures and music, and I couldn't get pass that.
See what I'm saying?
